LOCAL AERODROME REGULATIONS
1. Clearance at gate
ATC clearance will be delivered on request prior to start-up.
Such clearance will be issued for RWY in use and
appropriate SID. Transponder code will be communicated
during taxi.

2. Taxi regulations on TWY Y
Maximum wingspan 36 m for taxiing on TWY Y. De-icing of
aircraft with larger wingspan than 36 m shall contact TWR for
special instructions. 

3. Taxiing and towing regulations
Vid taxning eller bogsering ska luftfartygets antikollisions- och
positionsljus (om sådana finns) vara påslagna.
When taxiing or towing, the aircraft’s anti-collision and position
lights (if equipped) shall be turned on.

4. Ground movement procedures
Engines shall be operated at minimum power required when
taxiing on Apron Terminal, Hangar 2 and Arena.
Caution advised when turning around on aprons.
Watch out for passengers on aprons.

3. Granted exemptions from requirements in CS-ADR-DSN:

• RWY 03/21: first and last quarter of runway has longitudinal
slope of max 1.0%.

• Fixed lighted and not lighted obstacles/terrain penetrate the following obstacle limitation surfaces according to list:

• RWY 03/21 is not equipped with RCLL.
RVR below 400 m TKOF only to be conducted with LVO approved by the
operator’s competent authority.

When LVP is applied only one aircraft or only vehicles are
allowed in the manoeuvring area.
When LVP is applied ACFT shall report RWY vacated at
stand on apron.

Airport Bus
Airport bus transfer is run by local municipality “Kiruna kommun” and operated by Hörvalls bus. The airport bus transfer is available all year around at arrival and departures to/from Kiruna Airport.
The bus departs in general 30 minutes after arrival and adjust at any delay. Please notice driver of any further delay such as private lost luggage service handling, to secure you do not miss the transfer, especially at late arrivals.

Airport coaches operate between the airport and central Kiruna via Hjalmar Lundbomsvägen and Malmvägen roads.
The timetable may and will change according to flight schedule during the year.
The airport bus connect only to regular flights to and from Stockholm Arlanda Airport.

Buy your ticket onboard the bus before departure.
Cash and most credit-card are accepted.
NOTE: No ATM for cash withdrawal at Kiruna Airport.

The bus stops at Kiruna Airport on the way to and from Nikkaluokta on each run.
