"Örebro Airport is located just southwest of Örebro City. It is currently the fourth largest cargo airport in the country. Both TNT and DHL have scheduled flights and additionally a lot of air freight. The large amount of air freight attracts both large and unusual types of aircraft such as A-300, AN-12, AN-124, B-747, C-17, IL-76 and MD-11.

Passenger traffic today consists of charter flights through various charter airlines.
During the winter, charter airlines fly to the Canary Islands three times a week plus there are a number of flights to Mexico and Thailand each year.

The airport is also home to Örebro Flying Club, Örebro Skydive Club and Örebro Soaring Club.
These are involved in flight training, fire spotting, gliding competitions etc"

Climb on RWY track until reaching/passing a height where
the noise emission reaching ground is below 70 dB(A).
Restriction included in ATC clearance.

3. Departure RWY 19:
Climb on RWY track until passing RB, then turn right heading
240° until reaching/passing a height where the the noise
emission reaching ground I below 70 dB(A). Restriction
included in ATC clearance.

Aircraft with MTOM not exceeding 2000 kg departing RWY
01/19 shall climb straight ahead to 1500 ft until turn is
initiated. Restriction not included in ATC clearance.

Communication failure
Aircraft outside CTR having received no
clearance should land at an aerodrome outside
CTR and obtain clearance by telephone for further flight to STOCKHOLM/Bromma.

If no suitable aerodrome is within reach;
1. SQUAWK 7600
2. Enter CTR via KUMLA – Holding EAST or
via FJUGESTA – Holding WEST at or
below 1000 ft AMSL to traffic circuit.
Transmit blind your intentions.
3. Flash LDG-lights and watch TWR for optical
signals.
