PPR to ESSL may be granted by Linköpings Flying Club (LFK) or by Linköping City Airport.
LFK will only grant permission to park on the general aviation center apron north of the runway.

LOCAL TRAFFIC REGULATIONS 
1. The environmental concession permits daily traffic
between 0600 and 2200 local time (LMT).
In addition, after special permission from the airport manager,
scheduled and traffic of public interest may be accepted.

2. When ÖSTGÖTA TMC is not in operation,
training flights within ÖSTGÖTA TMA may be carried out only after
prior permission from the Supervisor at STOCKHOLM ACC,
phone +46 (0)8 - 585 547 02.

Intensive training activities with military jet aeroplanes and
helicopters outside Malmen and SAAB CTR.

3.  During the operational hours of MALMEN TWR:
SAAB CTR Sector b is delegated to MALMEN TWR.

4. VFR flights with aircraft with MTOM 4000 kg

During ATS hours of operation permission may be given to
take-off from intersection:
a) If ATS not informs differently, right hand turn shall be initiated
when reaching 500 ft AMSL after take-off RWY 29.
Valid also when ATS is closed.

b) Take-off RWY 29
     shall be made from TWY I or east thereof.

c) During TGL RWY 11
    touchdown shall be made 600 m in from THR.

d) When ATS is closed
     take-off RWY 11 shall be made 700 m in from THR to get full visibility.

5. When ATS is closed (both SAAB and Malmen TWR)
position reports and intentions should be transmitted on
channel 118.805 MHz before using the maneuvering area
or entering the traffic circuit.

6. Take-off RWY 29 and landing RWY 11
accepted only when wind conditions or other flight safety
reasons so require.

7. APU
shall not be used on parking unless required for engine start
or adjustment of cabin heat.

On these occasions APU must not be started earlier than
5 minutes before estimated time for taxiing.

When the temperature outside exceeds 25°C and when air
cannot otherwise be circulated in the cabin, APU may be
started at a maximum of 20 minutes before estimated time
for taxiing.

Low visibility procedures (LVP) established
Minimum RVR for departing traffic is 400 m.

LVP will be in force when RVR is below 550 m or when
ceiling or vertical visibility is below 200 ft.

The application of LVP will be announced by ATS.

When LVP is applied only one aircraft or vehicles are allowed
in the maneuvering area.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
1. Arresting net
outside runway ends erected when ATS is closed.

2. Lights in the vicinity of the aerodrome
may be disturbing during approach to RWY 11.

3. Prior Permission Required (PPR) for the following
types of flights within ÖSTGÖTA TMA;
• Aerial photographing
• Geological survey flights
• Parachute dropping
• Calibration flight for nav-aids and approach aids
Before submitting a flight plan the operator shall request prior
permission from ÖSTGÖTA TMC, PH: +46 (0)11 - 19 25 78.

7. Extensive military activity
in uncontrolled airspace next to/in vicinity/close to SAAB/Malmen
airport area and mainly in the area "S Hovetorp".

8. All flying clubs are located to
the north apron (GAC). Reached via TWY L.
Run-up should be done on northern apron.
