Outside the operational hours of AD
Jönköping Flygklubb (JFK) and its visitors can use the airport according to an agreement between Jönköping airport (JAAB) and JFK.
For visiting aircraft that wish to land during times when the airport is closed, refer to JFK www.jfk.nu.
Arrangement of aircraft is always carried out at JFK area following instructions from the visitor.

However, aircraft (non-commercial <4,000 kg) with Air BP card are allowed to land / take off for refueling of Avgas 100 without notification to JFK as above.
NOTE 1: All foreign Air BP cards may not work without activation.
NOTE 2: If the aircraft is to be parked and crew is to leave the refueling area, PPR is required for JFK as above.

LOCAL TRAFFIC REGULATIONS
1. Outside ATS hours of operation
Flights in the traffic circuit including repeated take-off and landing exercises RWY 01/19 and RWY 11/29 shall be carried out west and south of respective runway.

2. Other aerodrome traffic
For other aerodrome traffic, normal arrivals and departures,
take-off and landing, which not involve flying in the traffic
circuit or repeated take-offs and landings, normal traffic
procedures must be followed in accordance with SERA.3225.
Outside ATS hours of operations, blind transmission is
mandatory within CTR.

3. For VFR landing outside ATS hours of operation the
intention to land and ETA shall be clearly declared on
channel 118.255 followed by crossing the runway at least
1000 ft AGL in order to verify runway availability and alerting
any AD personnel and other traffic on the runway. If the
runway is not available in its full length and width, the landing
shall not be carried out.

4. For take-off outside ATS hours of operation the
intention to take-off shall clearly be declared on channel
118.255. If the runway is not available in its full length and
width, the take-off shall not be carried out.

5. Vehicle traffic may occur in the maneuvering area
outside ATS opening hours.

6. Clearance at gate
ATC clearance will be delivered prior to/at start-up.
Clearance will be issued for runway in use and first point on route according to flight plan.

1. Aerodrome regulations

Aircraft not following SID
For propeller driven aircraft with MTOM exceeding 5700 kg
and for all jet aircraft the following applies;
a) after take-off RWY 01 right hand turn must not be initiated
until passing L OA or
b) after take-off RWY 19 left hand turn must not be initiated
until passing L OJ.

When conditions permit more than «Idle Reverse« or
equivalent shall not be used between 2100-0600
(2000-0500).

APU shall not be used on parking unless required for engine
start or adjustment of cabin heat.
Start of APU must always be reported to ramp handling staff.

2. School and training flights
Helicopter school flights are not permitted.

Repeated approaches and/or take-off and landings are not
permitted between 2100-0600 (2000-0500).

3. Over built up areas
Over the central parts of Jönköping and Huskvarna aircraft
should not be operated below 2000 ft AMSL except when
necessary for take-off or landing.

The routes for inbound and outbound traffic have been
established also for noise abatement purposes.
Aircraft shall strictly adhere to assigned route and be operated in such a
manner that unnecessary noise disturbances are not caused 

Communication failure
Aircraft outside CTR having received no clearance
should land at an aerodrome outside CTR and
obtain clearance by telephone for further flight to
MALMÖ.

If no suitable aerodrome is within reach;
1.  SQUAWK 7600
2. Enter CTR via BOTTNARYD – Holding
WEST at or below 2200 ft AMSL to traffic
circuit. Transmit blind your intentions.
3. Flash LDG-lights and watch TWR for optical
signals.

Bus

There is a regular bus service, bus no 31, between the airport and Jönköping Resecentrum.
Line 31 operates regularly between early morning and late evening, seven days a week.
The journey takes about 20 minutes.
Ticket price according to "Länstrafiken's" traffic tariff.

Taxi 

Taxis are available directly outside the terminal.
All taxis to pick-up travelers will participate in the special taxi zone in front of the terminal.
Available cars are usually in place in the taxi zone at flight arrivals.
Pre-booked taxis meet up in the arrival hall.
Taxidriver holds up a sign showing taxi company and the customer's name.

The distance to Jönköping city center is 9 km.
NOTE: Please check the price with the driver before departure.
Most companies apply fixed prices to Jönköping Center.
Remember that it is always the customer who chooses which taxi to go with.
All taxi-companies in the taxi zone has an agreement with the Jönköping Airport and has undertaken to comply with the regulations at the airport.
Jönköping Airport charges a fee of 20 kr SEK, paid by the taxi companies, for each taxi pick-up at the airport.

Prebooked taxis pick up inside the terminal by the domestic baggage claim.
